30 Day Song Challenge: Music Mind And Soul Reader’s Edition!

Have you heard of the “30 Day Song Challenge?” I’ve seen it a few times on social media and have always wanted to take part in it. However, since I started blogging about music and how it impacts and influences our moods and mental health, I decided to do it a little differently. Instead of me choosing one song a day as a personal challenge, I decided to make this 30 Day Song Challenge a fun, interactive challenge on my Music Mind and Soul Facebook page and Twitter account!

My followers and I had so much fun! Not only did the challenge get us to thing about specific themed songs personally, but we were able to check out what my other followers picked for each day’s song prompt. It brought everyone so close together. New friendships were made after seeing so many similar and also unique musical tastes. There were some interesting discussions as well as to why people chose specific songs.

Songs hold special meanings to all of us. As discussed in a previous blog post, music can change our moods in an instant. Overall, many of my followers reached out to me to express how much they enjoyed doing the challenge. They got to listen to some of their old favorites, recall artists, bands, and songs that they long forgot about, and also experienced new music by artists that they never heard of before. Checking out what everyone was sharing daily gave me, as well as others, something to look forward to each day. It lifted are moods and spirits!

I decided to compile everything that was shared by my followers! Putting all of the music that was mentioned into one, easy to find spot (blog post) seemed logical. So, check out what everyone shared within each daily prompt below!
